Transportation Group Conference 2026 Registration Rates

Advocate registrations are available on application and are intended for those that do not work for an organisation that is in a position to pay full registration fees. It is primarily for (non-professional) members of organisations such as Living Streets Aotearoa (LSA), Cycling Action Network (CAN) and elected officials. 

Upon completing the registration process your application will be presented to the conference committee. If approval is granted, we will be in touch to confirm your advocate rate. If you are not granted an advocate rate, you will have the option to change to the relevant early bird rate or cancel at no charge.

Applications close Friday 23 January 2026.

Student registrations are available until Friday 23 January 2026. To be eligible for a student rate, you will need to send a copy of your student ID to stacey@hardingconferences.co.nz after completing the registration process. Once your ID has been verified, we will be in touch to confirm your student rate.

*NON-MEMBER FEES

Any delegate or presenter who is not a financial member of the Transportation Group or Trafinz (excludes Exhibitors, Sponsors, ITE ANZ and IPWEA) is required to pay a surcharge. The cost for this is $150+GST ($172.50).

Transportation Group Membership

Membership of Transportation Group is individual. 

If you wish to become a member of Engineering NZ Transportation Group the fees, excl GST, are:

  • Employed: $75

  • Career break / not employed: $15

  • Retired: $15

Trafinz membership

Membership of Trafinz is by organisation, not individual. If your organisation is registering multiple delegates, this could be a more cost-effective option for you. The fees, excl GST, are usually:

  • Cities and Districts Authorities with populations: from $500 - $4,000 depending on number of employees

  • Regional Councils: $2,000

  • Associates/Not for profits: $100

  • Corporates (Consultants, contractors): from $20 - $1,000 depending on number of employees

  • Strategic Government Stakeholders: $1,000

  • Learning Institutions: $250

However, for 2025 they have been reduced by 50%.
