The following awards are made by a panel of judges for peer-reviewed papers. The awards are focused on the technical content of the papers and are irrespective of presentation format:

Excellence award for conference paper that most aligns with the theme sponsored by Beca
Excellence award for best paper by a young author sponsored by NB Consulting

(solo author only, studying full-time at a tertiary institution as at 1 March 2026)

TRAFINZ ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
The Trafinz awards have been developed to recognise those organisations, individuals or communities that have made an outstanding contribution and have demonstrated leadership in transportation safety and sustainability in NZ.
